THE GRUFFALO

The Gruffalo is a children's tale that tells the story of a mouse's walk in the woods. On his way the mouse encounters several dangerous animals (a fox, an owl, and a snake). Each of these animals, clearly intent on eating the mouse, invites him back to their home for a meal.
Our students could enjoy watching the video in the English classroom.

GRUFFALO FEATURES

He has terrible tusks,
and terrible toes,
and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws.
He has knobbly knees
and turn-out toes
and a poisonous wart at the end of this nose.
His eyes are orange,
his tongue is black,
he has purple prickles all over his back.
He’s the Grrrr Grrrr Grrr Gruffalo!
